ellyvstheworldI suppose I'm trying this website out. Let's be honest, I really dislike Facebook. All creative social media has just gone to pimping out Facebook and Twitter and I can't see anyone's real shit through all the advertising and random link sharing that I really couldn't care less about. Hopefully I'll have at least one or two good friends on dream width :) I used to be a livejournal fiend after all!
I really wish I didn't have to make a lot of this blog private but due to the nature of my work I will. If you would like to see more about what I do please request to follow this blog. I work as a Neuroscience Research Assistant in a lab that studies aging in monkeys. I essentially train them to play touch screen video games that test memory. It's pretty awesome and my dream job. I wouldn't give it up for anything.
Hopefully this blog will help me start crafting again and provide me with more motivation to be creative at home. I have no problem always staying alert at work but when I get home I'm suddenly mind-numbingly bored. I love to read and can't even sit still long enough to read a book! It's quite the damn shame.
So here goes another blog that will most likely be shut down after I feel guilty about offending someone that I didn't realize was reading it. So, until then! ^^/
